  • 20 ears of corn, uncooked, Cut off, Make 10 cups
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 13 cup sugar

directions

  • Put corn, water , salt and sugar in a large pot. Bring to boil then boil 2 minutes. Let cool. Then bag, corn and liquid together. Freeze with bags standing up. About 2 cups of this frozen, will serve 3 people. You can freeze whatever amount you want.

  1. This is the same recipe my parents use to can fresh corn ever year! I'm so spoiled, I won't eat corn any other way. It does take a little bit of work and it's best if you have the space and time to do a couple batches at a time because it does freeze ridiculously well and it lasts all year long. We place the full freezer bags on a cookie sheet and let them freeze flat so they are easy to stack.
