  • 3 lbs stew meat
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1 can beer
  • 14 cup vinegar

  • Roll the stew meat in flour and then brown in oil.
  • Seasoned flour may be used.
  • Put meat in pot with soup mix.
  • Add half the recommended amount of water (on the soup mix box).
  • Add beer.
  • Cook for 2 hours 45 minutes hours at 300 degrees F.
  • Stir in the vinegar and cook uncovered for 15 minutes longer.
