  1. Saute onion and celery in margarine. Add potato, water, salt, frankfurters, bay leaf and thyme. Cover and simmer until potatoes are almost tender.
  2. Add corn.
  3. Blend flour and cold milk into a smooth paste. Add a little of the vegetable mixture to this and stir slowly into vegetable-frankfurter mixture. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Add hot milk and blend.
  5. Garnish with peas.
  6. Serves 6.

Really tasty chowder, I had 5 frankfurters I needed to use up and went on a recipe search and chose this. Easy to put together, consistency is great and flavours excellent.
