This is SOOOO good! I even served it to my husbands ex wife! LOL I made it as directed the first time, the next time, I doubled the recipe and did it in a 9X13 pan, with the crust just on the bottom and cut into little squares for serving. An absolute hit!

spectacular dessert -you'd never guess that these simple ingredients produce such a wonderfully delicious result. this is actually a 3 textured pie. the top has an almost candy taste, the filling is like caramel, the bottom is dense and chocolatey. i think this is one of the best taste treats i have ever made and i highly recommend this. i was out of chocolate chips so i substituted with white chocolate. otherwise followed the recipe. TY.

This was very good! The pie does cook up fairly layered, with a top resembling a brownie and the nice compliment of the crunch of the nuts. I served with whipped cream on top. I may have cooked it at too high a temperature as the top was crunchy and the middle was a bit runny. I would definitely try it again as the flavor and texture was wonderful.

Made this for thanksgiving as a change from the normal pies we usually have. It was a big hit, even my brother (who will not eat brownies with nuts) liked it. Rich and custard like inside.

This is a very rich and delicious pie and it also helps that it's so easy to make. I'm happy to say that I actually made my own pie crust using Karen's Most Incredible NO FAIL PIE CRUST #28943 for this instead of Pillsbury. I will be making this again. Next time I'll try it with walnuts because of the price of pecans.
