    Nif's Note:

    A basic guacamole that can be flavoured any way you like. Stir in some minced seedless jalapeno pepper, chopped fresh cilantro, a squeeze of fresh lime juice, or a pinch of cayenne. Enjoy!

      Put the avacado in a medium bowl and gently mash with a fork until chunky. Stir in the tomato, onion and salt.

      Serve at once or press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole to prevent it from browning and refrigerate up to 3 hours.

      A great basic guac. Instead of tomato and onion, I added some fresh salsa (which had both in it). Also added a little garlic for heat. Thanks for sharing -- really great basic recipe to start from and tweak for personal preference!!

      This was really great, in fact I loved it! I cut the recipe in half since I only had 1 avocado... and instead of adding a chopped tomato I added a couple spoonfuls of homemade salsa. I also added lime juice, garlic powder and cumin. Made for ZWT5.
