Four Cups & One Apple Salad is my favorite salad to serve with Shish Kabobs in the summertime. It is very easy to stir up and chill for dinner tonight or tomorrow night. I always use the fat free sour cream! This dish is a favorite with guests and my family. We prefer the apple to be a Granny Smith green one.
- 1 cup mandarin orange, drained
- 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 cup fat free sour cream
- 1 cup miniature marshmallow
- 1 apple
- Mix altogether.
- Cover bowl.
- (Refrigerating your canned fruits and apple will make it ready to eat as soon as you assemble.).
I LOVED this!! It was so light and refreshing and a great way to get your fruit servings in! I loved the slight tang from the sour cream that kept it from being too sweet. I know I will be serving this A LOT this summer...I might even just make a meal of it for myself, as I sould eat the whole bowl in one sitting! Thanks so much for sharing!!

This is the fruit salad I've looked for all my life! It is AMAZING the way the marshmallows, sour cream and fruit juices combine to make that delicious sauce. I love how little fuss there is to it. I might add a little shredded coconut next time I make it, which will be very soon. Thanks so much for this!
