  1. This is a much richer version of Alfredo Sauce then I have been used to making. One dish the whole family will eat, happily. Yours is a wonderful recipe. I chose it for PAC 2012. Thank you for sharing. Please share more recipes.

  2. I’ve been using this Alfredo sauce recipe for a few years. It is absolutely delicious, best Alfredo sauce I’ve ever had. Better than any restaurant! I’ve tried it with the basil and with the nutmeg (which another reviewer suggested) and I can’t say which I like better, both ways are so good. Easy to make as well. Thank you!

  3. After you have reduced the cream by simmering make sure the sauce doesn't boil when adding the other cheeses. If it boils it will break and become greasy and grainy. Also skip the basil and add 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg for the real Italian flavor. This is the best, authentic and low carb, gluten free Alfredo Sauce recipe I have seen and no cream cheese. Hooray, we are eating it tonight on Buttercup Squash veggie noodles.
