3 3/4 stars. Lazy to make roast garlic so I just used less fresh & extra freshly squeezed lemon out of preference. I prefer a similar salad with just chickpeas rather than using fava beans, like other said they are bland. I used extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. I won't make this again.

I used fresh garlic too (I like the bite). BUT - It was a little on the bland side. So I added about 1 heaping tsp toasted cumin and 1/2 tsp ground coriander. It really elevated this salad to the next level.

I made this last night to serve with dinner this evening. It was delicious right from the start, even before allowing it to marinate. I couldn't find canned fava beans in the market (?) so I opted for butter beans. Although I love roasted garlic I used fresh garlic. Definitely will be making this again. Thanks for posting.

Great recipe that requires no cooking.

I found this to be very very good. I didn't roast the garlic as I like the fresh garlic nip. I was tempted to add some carrots left over from Thanksgiving but I wanted to make it as intended and was glad that I resisted. I made it last night and left it in the fridge overnight, tasted it this morning and added a bit more lemon juice and salt. I had a serving cold from the fridge and I think I'll let the next serving come up to room temp to see if it makes a difference only for testing reasons. Giving it the marinating time is most important with this recipe I think. I loved it and it made a very fine compliment to the broiled Moroccan spiced chicken breast. A lovely lunch. I think it's winner Kumquat!

Oh I love this! I'm arabic so I've made this before, the recipe isn't any different from how I make it, but I'm usually too lazy to roast the garlic. yeah, the fava beans may be a little bland but I think maybe it's an aquired taste? cause I love them

Sorry, just did not like the taste of this at all. I guess I just learned I dont like fava beans and it was a bit bland. This dish may be beacuse it's not to my taste even though I like parsley and all the other ingredients. None of the family liked it.

Another winner Kumquat. Since starting the WW Core program, I'm often in search of great dishes that make use of canned beans. This came together in a jiffy and the flavors were superb. Since the oven was on for another dish, I chose the roasted garlic option and would certainly do it again that way.
