    V'nut-Beyond Redemption's Note:

Baking Soda is an odor remover and is slightly abrasive so it works well as a scrub (though not as good as fine sand). Lavender and Lemon stated in the recipe are Lavender essential oil and Lemon essential oil. You may substitute Sweet or Bitter Orange Essential oil for the Lemon Essential oil.

Very nice scrub...if you want "scrubbier" you can add a tablespoon of corn meal.

I hate wearing socks, so my feet are constantly exposed. On top of that, I've got dry skin, so I'm not about to win any foot beauty contests. This scrub really works wonders. I made it at the end of a long day at work and an endless bus ride home where I had to stand the whole time. The lemon oil really wakes up your tired feet while at the same time the lavender oil soothes them. Instead of the tea tree oil I used a drop of clary sage oil for my dry skin. Next time I'm going to try Molly's suggestion of adding some cornmeal for a really good slough! Thanks, V-nut, this one is going to become a regular habit!
