  1. My Mom used to make these for us when we were kids....I still make them every now and then for my kids when I want to take a trip back to my childhood. The only thing we do different is wait until the bacon is cooked before putting on the cheese. This keeps the cheese from burning under the broiler. Also toast the buns during the last 2 minutes in the broiler as the cheese melts. Excellent taste and quick clean up as I cook in the broiler on a sheet of aluminum foil....just roll it up and toss in the waste can.

  2. Great, I partially cooked the bacon first, and wrapped it around the hot dog and secured it with toothpicks, than broiled it Thank You Michelle-
