"The cinnamon cream syrup is a nice change from maple syrup...and it keeps quite well in the fridge."

 1. Awesome!! The waffles are super good and fluffy!

 2. This was a good recipe but I think I'll still keep shopping around. Thank you!

 3. I make waffles all of the time. I tried this recipe and my family loved it.
I did make one provision, I used buttermilk instead of regular milk. It worked out very nicely.
Lots of flavour!

 4. These were really tasty. Fun for the kids to help out with. Mine didn't fluff up very well, maybe it's time to buy fresh baking powder? Either way they tasted great, thank you for posting.

 5. I've found a new favorite waffle recipe! LOL at the reviewer who's been searching for 40 years for the "perfect waffle". I''m only 46, so I've only been searching for about 20, but this definitely hits the spot. Just used maple syrup and made for dinner last night, but used remaining batter for breakfast today. This will be great with creamed chicken too! Thanks tweetyfan for a great recipe!

Tweaks

 1. These were excellent waffles: light, crisp, and tasty--just the way waffles should be! It actually even made enough without doubling (my DH and DS can eat alarming quantities of waffles!) We used maple syrup instead of making the Cinnamon Cream Syrup, just because we love maple syrup. I'm sure I'll make this recipe again. Thanks, tweetyfan!
