this recipe is very efficient and it can be used in many ways!!!
I don't know if I can give it 5 stars just because I made some changes. I used applesauce instead of oil just because anywhere I can get a fruit or veggie is a bonus. Almond milk instead of cow and I also didn't use cinnamon because my son doesn't care for it. Instead I put in 1 1/2 T of cocoa powder and 2 T of sugar. We thought they were pretty darn good and vegan to boot!!
Great recipe - very easy & tasty!

I used whole wheat flour & unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

I agree it doesn't come out very sweet, but its perfect for fruit, peanut butter, maple syrup, etc.

I think you could add more sugar or sweetener if you wanted & still have the recipe turn out great!
Wonderful! I used the whole wheat flour option and exchanged the veggie oil for a heaping tbsp of apple sauce. To boost the "healthy factor" I added a tbsp of wheat germ & a handful of chopped strawberries to the batter. My 16 mo old daughter loved them topped with peanut butter, and I topped mine with peanut butter and real maple syrup. Thanks for sharing - will make again!
Just perfect for healthy everyday pancakes.
Oh, I forgot. I had no oil, so I substituted apple sauce (heaping T). Turned out just fine.
This recipe is really bad. Pancakes have no taste, the batter is really thick and hard to cook, and overall a horrible recipe. I have no idea if it's the lack of eggs or just some other problem, but I will not make this recipe again.
Great! Ran out of eggs and my little one was begging for pancakes, so tried this. We love it! Didn't miss the eggs a bit. I added a tablespoon of sugar rather than a teaspoon. (My son likes the pancake a little sweeter because he isn't a fan of syrup.) Also, I happened to have cinnamon chips on hand so I threw a few of those in. It was really yummy! Will definitely make this again!
I tried these because I ran out of eggs and plus my daughter is allergic to eggs so anything I can make eggless is a plus. But these were very good and were fluffy and thicker than my normal pancakes, which meant it took less to fill everyone up. Thanks.
I wonder what it would taste like without the cinnamon, since I normally don't add cinnamon to pancakes. Is it hiding some weird eggless pancake nastiness? My boyfriend commented that it tastes like french toast, which was probably the cinnamon. I also only added less than half a teaspoon. Used lowfat milk and they were fine. I would definitely use this recipe again, but probably only when I'm out of eggs, like today.
