  • Place the broth, salt and olive oil in a large saucepan and bring to a boil oer high heat. Stir in the couscous, cover, and remove the pan from the heat. Let stand for 5 minutes, then add the currants or almonds, if desired, full the couscous lightly with a fork and serve.

  1. Perfect basic recipe! I like to add some herb like parsley, if I have any. Bit dry, as it should, as it's meant to be served with wet foods, to soak up the juices.
     
  2. Can't get much easier than this! I used toasted slivered almonds and dried cranberries instead of raisins or currants. Went very well with a salmon filet. Made for Spring 2010 PAC.
