You may use any flavor of frosting homemade or store-bought, adding in the Cool Whip will create a light fluffy texture and increase your amount, perfect for frosting cakes, 2 cups of frosting is only a guideline, use any amount desired ;-) This method will work great with Kittencal's Chocolate Frosting/Icing *OR* Kittencal's Bakery Buttercream Frosting/Icing

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 cup cool whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 3 -4 cups prepared frosting


  1. Place the prepared frosting in a bowl; using a spatula fold in thawed cool whip starting with only 1/2 cup and adding in more to acheive desired consistancy.
  2. Any remaining Cool Whip may be re-frozen for another use.
