Like I saw in the reviews, I decided to put orange juice instead of the water in the cake. I didn't have yellow cake mix but only white cake mix so I used this. It's very good. For the frosting, I added more orange marmalade. I added orange extract. And also 3 drops of yellow food coloring and 2 drops of red food coloring to give the frosting an orange color. The cake is very moist. I really love it. Thanks Mike :) Made for Zaar Star Game.

This is a wonderful cake. I used a jiffy cake mix and followed the directions using oj for the water. Topped with a mixture of hazelnut cream cheese and a papaya, coconut, pineapple jam from Hawaii. Really delicious!

I really enjoyed this cake. I liked that the orange flavor is subtle. The cake turned out very moist. I wouldn't change a thing.

This is a wonderful cake, I used fresh orange juice and also added in 2 tablespoons grated orange zest to the cake, I also increased the marmalade to 2 tbsps in the frosting, I sent half of the cake home with my son who I'm certain will have it gone in no time lol! thanks for sharing Syd!...Kitten:)

I love anything orange adn this cake is great! It's very easy to put together and makes that cake mix special with just a few extra ingredients. The frosting really goes well with the cake. This cake will be great in the summer! Thanks for posting!

A nice upgrade from a basic cake mix, this cake has a very subtle orange flavor. It's an easy recipe and would be suitable for cooks of any level. I added additional orange zest on top of the icing, and next time, I think I would also add some orange extract.
