Floral Body Spray

This is very nice and easy to put together. At the moment I keep it in the fridge because it is very hot weather and the spray is then lovely and cool.

• Total Time: 10 mins
• Prep Time: 10 mins
• Cook Time: 0 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 1 cup

• 1/2 cup rose water
• 1/2 cup vodka
• 25 drops lavender oil
• 10 drops orange essential oils
• 5 drops patchouli essential oils

Directions:

1. Mix everything together, pour into a spray bottle.
2. Leave for two days or a bit longer, shake every day.
3. Shake before use.
4. Keep in a cool dark place.

Oh, Annelies, did you honestly think I was going to spritz vodka on myself? I went to the pharmacy and bought pure alcohol and used that instead of the vodka. I've also been playing around with the other ingredients. I find that a combination of orange blossom oil along with some honeysuckle and jasmine makes a wonderfully refreshing fragrance. Keeping this in the fridge is a wonderful idea. I'm on the lookout now for some pretty spray bottles so I can give this spray as a gift.

This is GREAT - I love the aroma of these oils! I dont have lavender and patchouli oils so I had to use substitutes like we had discussed on the boards. I substituted the lavender oil with jasmine essential oil and the patchouli oil with rose essential oil. I made another batch of this wherein I used chamomile essential oil as a substitute for the patchouli essential oil. I substituted the vodka with surgical spirit. This smells really nice and yes, storing it in the fridge is essential if you want to enjoy this even more in the summers! Thank you for a wonderful, easy to put together and simply great recipe!
