I cut the recipe way down...I used 1.5 oz of butter and 3/4 tsp of pink peppercorn...didn't add salt because I used salted butter...I wrapped up the butter in plastic wrap into a small tube...I got 6 coin size circles....topped our steak with one of the butter coins...Hubby gave this a 10 star rating...he loved the flavor of the pink peppercorn...he didn't even ask for steak sauce...I have 4 coins left to use...you will love the burst of pepper you get...thanks for posting...this is a keeper! =)

  • 5 ounces butter, unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon pink peppercorns
  • 14 teaspoon maldon salt


  1. Grind peppercorns as fine or coarse as you like with in a mortar and pestle and mix ingredients well.
  2. FOR GIFT:.
  3. Wrap each butter roll in foil and then tissue paper, twisting the ends like a sweet wrapper.
  4. Add a label with the flavor.
  5. Include suggestions for uses or recipes and bundle together in a gift basket.
