Fantastic flavor! I used NY strip steaks because there was just one lonely little flank steak in meat case, and since I live in a house full of carnivores, I knew that would never do!! I saved 1/2 a cup of the sauce to use for dipping, but ended up using that on the side dish of jasmine rice. Everyone loved it, thanks for posting!
Very flavorful - and a unique flavor unlike other flank steak recipes I have tried. Did not use the extra sauce for dipping/serving. It was flavorful enough with the initial marinade and basting while cooking. Enjoyed by all.
great flavor. i followed recipe except i didnt actually have chipolte peppers so i used 1/8 cup raspberry chipolte sauce instead. loved it! boiled marinade for sauce after and it was the perfect glaze. thx!

Oh my goodness this is really a great recipe. Made it with tri-tip. Had a really nice spicy flavor. Marinated for 4 hours was perfect. Thank you for the recipe. Will be making over and over again!!!
Grilled steak never tasted so good! We loved it and plan to serve it again when company comes in a couple of weeks!
WOW! I made this for a group of friends and it was amazing! The only thing I would do differently is make a double batch for later!
My husband liked it, however I thought the chiles were way overpowering, which wouldn't be a bad thing if you really like adobe chilies, but i do not.
