      This was the first time I had tried quinoa and it was very tasty. Thanks for adding the toasted quinoa recipe/suggestion. I used sweet onions but no carrots and it still tasted great. I made this with Veal Cutlets with Balsamic Sauce (Pork (or veal) Cutlets with Balsamic Sauce) and Roasted Broccoli Florets with Toasted Breadcrumb Gremolata (from Epicurious.com). Very good dinner.

      I was worried about the quinoa being bitter so I made sure to wash it very well before I toasted it. It turned out great! I prepared this recipe using the directions but also added about 1 tsp of ginger. I did end up using the salt and would probably make it again with vegetable broth. Thanks for the recipe.

      This will become a staple in our house. It is a healthy and tasty side dish and easy to make too. I used chicken stock instead of water.

      Thanks for posting this recipe. It was the first time we ever tried Quinoa and we loved it. We made the recipe with just a touch more carrot which added to it's health benefits. Definitely a keeper :-)
