An easy, only slightly greasy fried fish recipe that you can make at home.

  1. Cut cod into manageable sized pieces. This is about 2-3 inches in length.
  2. Place flour in one bowl.
  3. Mix milk and egg in a second bowl.
  4. Place Panko in a third bowl.
  5. Dredge fish pieces in flour.
  6. Dredge fish pieces in the milk/egg mixture.
  7. Coat fish pieces with Panko.
  8. Let the fish sit for about 5 minutes before cooking.
  9. Place 2 cups vegetable oil in a large skillet.
  10. Heat skillet on high.
  11. Place fish in oil only after it is hot.
  12. Cook fish about 3 minutes on each side or until done.
  13. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to remove any excess oil.
