  1. Heat 2 tbsps.
  2. oil in a pan.
  3. Add cumin.
  4. Allow to splutter.
  5. Add the chopped onion.
  6. Fry till it is golden brown.
  7. Add ginger and garlic pastes.
  8. Slit green chillies and chopped tomatoes.
  9. Cook till the oil separates.
  10. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, corriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste.
  11. Saute for 2 minutes.
  12. Add fenugreek leaves and corriander leaves.
  13. Add the King fish pieces.
  14. Mix well.
  15. Close the pan.
  16. Cook till the fish is soft.
  17. Serve as a side dish or main dish with rice or chappatis.
