A delicious recipe. Very easy to prepare, as well. I did not have tamarind but used fresh lime juice and a pinch of brown sugar.
We served it over white rice.

Thanks for posting.

Wow! One of the best, and simplest curries I've made! Yay! My husband loved it and Ioved that I didn't have to make a spice paste or toast anything. Very easy with great flavor. I used a red pepper and cod that I cut into large pieces. I will make again, thanks for the keeper!

This was really lovely, and it was one of those rare dishes that the entire family enjoyed, from 9 month old to 3#$(* year old ;). Served with rice and sauteed zucchini it made for a very satisfying meal. I used only 1 T of tamarind b/c I was unsure how we would feel about the flavor, and I think it was a good choice for us. Thanks for posting, CJAY! Made for ZWT 7, for the Vivacious Violets.

Fantastic what an awesome supper this was. Really quick and easy too. I made this as posted and it was done in less than ½ hour we had a great meal. It was served with "Kenyan Coconut Rice" and salad. And I'll making this again, great thank you.

A quick and easy meal that was very tasty. We had already prepared veggies when we had found this recipe so we omitted the capsicum. It was delicious and would be really suited to serving with rice.
