I really wanted to make this after seeing it in the Favorites of 2009 Tag game. But I missed the tag, so decided to make it anyway! I love bratwurst, so it's great to find something new to do with it. I had 8 inch tortillas, and even cutting them and using a fork...this was very messy. I tried another way....just sliced the bratwurst, put some of the sauce on top, and ate it that way....much easier and very good! Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!

These were really good, 4 stars as written. 5 stars if you chop up the sausage and add avocado. They are very filling, since it is a lot of meat. I added more cilantro and less cheese.

Fantastic! I don't think I will be eating brats any other way now! I used chicken brats, and since I had regular salsa, I added a dash of lime juice to the sauce. Thanks for sharing! Edited to Add: This sauce and pepperjack cheese combo was also really good with turkey dogs, chorizo chicken sausage, and on top of black bean burgers. This recipe is so addictive!

WOW, was this good. The sauce was awesome, I need to figure out a few other things to use it for. I used some hot peppers and a jalapeno-cheese tortillas, almost made it too hot. I highly recommend this recipe, it is a nice twist to the standard brats and buns.

I made these for lunch today and they are awesome! I did, however, have a slight problem when preparing the bratwurst. I made them to package instructions(using a skillet) but by the end of the 10 minute "steaming" my pan was dry and black on the bottom. On a positve note, this gave the brats a "grilled" flavor. ;) Other than that, this is a quick, tasty meal! I made them more like tacos by placing 1 brat in a warmed tortilla and topped it with sauce and cheese. I then added salsa, peppers, tomatoes and onions. This is a great take on the "traditional" taco/burrito! Thanks for posting, twissis!
