I loved this! My friends wanted to know what cardamom tasted like so I looked up some quick recipes featuring that sweet spice. The little buns were so light and delicious. I brushed each roll with egg white mixed with a little water and sprinkled sugar on top. It reminded me of the smells and rolls I had when we visited Sweden. I used 2 tsp. of yeast like another baker.
This recipe was very easy to make. Recipe calls for 50g yeast, I am not accustomed to metric measurements and used a kitchen scale. 50g yeast equals out to be about 1/3 cup! I have never used such large amount of yeast in so small a recipe so I used 2 teaspoons. My voisilmapulla turned out really good so I would make it with the 2 teaspoons yeast again. I will have to make more soon, my kids gobbled it up and wanted more!
