This is a simple holiday treat.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 cups filberts, chopped
  • 1 12 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 1 (12 ounce) package Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Spread chopped nuts in a lightly greased 13 x 9 baking pan.
  2. Boil brown sugar and butter for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour this caramel mixture over nuts and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  4. Let cool and cut into squares.
