Figgy Nut Pie

"A pecan pie with no corn syrup (but lots of butter!). This makes a small pie, but I often double it for a 10" deep dish pie. If you want, omit the raisins and double the pecans."

  • Cream the butter and sugar.
  • Add cinnamon and stir.
  • Add the eggs and stir.
  • Add pecans, raisins, and vinegar and mix.
  • Pour into a 8 or 9 inch pie shell and bake at 350°F till filling sets.
