- 591.47 ml sugar
- 177.44 ml butter
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 236.59 ml buttermilk
- 473.18 ml fig preserves
- 709.77 ml sifted all-purpose flour
- 118.29 ml candied cherry
- 4.92 ml cinnamon
- 2.46 ml nutmeg
- 2.46 ml clove
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- 4.92 ml orange extract
- 4.92 ml baking soda (add to buttermilk)
- 236.59 ml chopped pecans
directions
- Cream sugar and butter add beaten eggs.
- Mix baking soda with buttermilk and add to first mixture.
- Gradually add flour and spices.
- Add figs,extract, nuts and cherries.
- Bake in greased and floured tube pan 1 hour and 20 minute at 300 F.
