Fig Cake

"Truly a CAJUN COUNTRY recipe. This recipe came from watching an aunt (who never used measuring utensils) and trying to "guesstimate" her measurements. Also wonderful for Christmas holiday."

  1. Excellent. I baked in four small spring form pans. Came out great. Poured about one ounce of apricot brandy over one and stored overnight. Made the cake even more moist and delicious.

  2. This was a little weird. It's kind of like a spicey fruit cake, but alittle different. I liked how the orange flavor still showed though, and that figs were not the only thing you could taste. Yeah, over all, this was a pretty good cake there Jerrie. Thanx for posting.
