This is oatmeal as I love having it every morning. Very nutritious!
- 1⁄2 cup rice milk
- 1⁄2 cup rolled oats
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 dried fig (dehydrated)
- 10 raisins
- 5 almonds
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Cut the fig and almonds into small pieces.
- Place all the ingredients in a cooking pot, give them a light stir then bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
I love trying new ways to make oatmeal. I used almond milk and cranberries for the fruit. It was a great breakfast, thanks!
