A nice way to serve up rice.
- Mix salsa, rice and water in saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until rice is tender.
- Fluff rice with fork before serving.
This was delicious, quick, and easy! I used homemade salsa with ingredients from my garden (and the Recipe #9272 recipe). I also followed one reviewer's lead and used chicken broth in place of water. There were no leftovers! Thanks!
This was pretty good. I found this recipe spur of the moment when I needed a side dish to have with some chicken. Very simple and quick to make.
Right when I found this recipe I had to make it because I have been craving anything like spanish rice lately! I halved the recipe, and it made the perfect amount as a side to my lunch. This is definately a keeper for when I need a quick side dish to compliment just about any kind of meat! It would also be great on tacos..and of course, it makes a fast and easy snack!
