Made this and Wow!! great texture and taste.
This recipe deserves a 5 star on ease alone. Just throw it in the crock pot and stir occasionally. We helped our son move a couple of weekends ago and while we were moving things we snacked on this dip with chips.
this is a great recipe..
however, for a meatier version I add 1 pound of lean ground beef, browned and drained.
Keep it warm in a crock pot. It will disappear so quickly.
So easy and tasty. I used hot chili with beans and a mild salsa. Thanks Ang11002 for a nice treat that my grandson and I loved. Maade for Photo Tag.
I had two blocks of velveeta cheese that my friend brought over from Texas and I was looking out for a recipe to make with one of the blocks! I saw this, and as I had some chili and salsa, it seemed a great opportunity to make it, and it's a crockpot recipe as well!! Now, I think this is very much personal taste, as I have never cooked with Velveeta before - but I was a bit unsure about the cheesy taste & texture - it was very nice however, our friend's children loved it! I am probably used to very European type cheeses - but I will try this again, and maybe I will add something "sharper" to tone it up, as it was just a wee bit too rich and cheesy, I can't put my finger on it! Thanks for posting it - I will ALWAYS try anything new and I am glad I tried this dip, as I would still have TWO blocks of velveeta in my pantry! Thanks Ang11002! :-)
This is DELICIOUS! I added in some fresh garlic and used extra spicy salsa, I plan on making this again soon, DH and DS loved it! thanks for sharing hon!...Kitten:)
