OMG Patrick, thank you so much for posting this recipe. Really good tasting and will make a wonderful dipping sauce also. The only change I made was with the ketchup. I used half regular Heinz Ketchup and half Heinz Hot & Spicy Ketchup (I bought this by accident and wanted to get rid of it, It worked perfect for this recipe). Made for 2012 Zaar Cookbook Tag game.
Wonderful bbq sauce. It was great on pork chops on the bbq. I will do this recipe often. DH liked it so much. And it's so easy to do. Thanks Patrick :) Made for I recommend tag game
It can't get much easier than this, & the taste is great! I did double the recipe & then gifted about 2/3 of it to a neighbor who does way more BBQing than I do, but that just gives me a good reason to make it again when I run out! This first time around I actually served it as a dip for chicken tenders & we loved it that way! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Zaar Cookbook Tag]
I made this on 8/12/08, and I've got to tell you this is a very good BBQ Sauce. I did however make a big mistake with this, made only half the recipe. The taste of this by itself was just great, but added to leftovers from Slow Cooker Southwestern Pork Roast made the sandwich taste "over the top ". When this is made again, the whole recipe will be made. Thank you so much for posting, and "Keep Smiling :)"
Very delicious and simple sauce to make. I added minced garlic and ginger. Was absolutely GREAT! Thanks for this recipe.
I prepared this for PAC Spring 2008. I found it to be an excellent sauce that would rival any gourmet bbq sauce I have tasted. It's has a robust flavor that is neither too sweet or too spicy. Smokey undertones are present without being overpowering. This sauce is a very nice consistency that will stay on the meats instead of dripping to the bottom of the grill. Extremely easy to prepare with common kitchen ingredients makes this a winner in my book.
