- 1 (10 ounce) package fettuccine pasta (fresh or dry)
- 1 cup table cream (10%)
- 1⁄4 cup butter, melted
- 1⁄3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
directions
- Prepare noodles following the package directions. Drain pasta, saving some of the pasta water, keep hot.
- In a separate pan, combine the butter, cheese, milk, salt and pepper and heat, but do not boil. (This can also be done in the microwave).
- Toss the hot noodles with the cheese mixture and fresh parsley to coat well. Add some of the reserved pasta water if mixture is too thick.
- Serve immediately, adding more grated cheese if desired.
