This recipe was in my recipe box. Don't know where I got it from. Perhaps from a friend or a magazine.
- 4 ounces crumbled feta
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup garlic (crushed)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1⁄8 teaspoon dried dill or 1⁄8 teaspoon dried thyme
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients.
- Serve with sesame crackers or melba toasts.
This dip is great! I made it for our Labor Day gathering and intended to have leftovers (I 4x the recipe) but there wasn't a bit left. Making it again to take to a baby shower on Tuesday night and am not expecting leftovers then, either.
Loved this dip. One of the best Feta dips ever. Doubled the recipe and used 8 cloves of garlic which was just right for us. Thanks for sharing this tasty recipe!!
