I love this recipe! It is a nice addition for a holiday dessert table. I prefer it slightly thawed, the flavors and textures are a great combo.
I was so happy to find this recipe which my Grandma called Frozen Fruit Yummy. It is my favorite childhood Thanksgiving memory! I used walnuts instead of pecans and added an 8 oz package of softened cream cheese! I also froze these in colorful muffin papers just like my grandma. Yummy and delicious!!
Loved it - reminds me of a frozen salad that I had lost the recipe for - maybe this is it! The flavors and textures blend together really well, and make a delicious (kind of healthy if you use fat-free milk and Cool Whip, which I did) dessert/salad.
This was very easy to make and had a pretty, festive pink color. We almost liked the little taste tests of the unfrozen version better; kind of a cranberry ambrosia...might try leaving it unfrozen next time. :) The tart side seemed a bit strong, but overall it was a great recipe. Thanks!
This frozen salad was outstanding. Had a sweet-tart flavor and a luscious creamy texture. The cranberry flavor was the perfect accompaniment for our pork dinner. Kids and adults all liked this at my house. Thanks for this one.
I made this for Thanksgiving. WOW!! Nurse Di, this is another one of your outstanding recipes The color was a most beautiful pink. Had a predominantly creamy texture but the nuts provided crunch. My family raved. Will make this again for Christmas. Thanks :)
