Very moist loaf that freezes well. Added to my Christmas baking list! I freeze the loaves ahead and decorate with glaze after they thaw.

This holiday season I came looking for this recipes. I make it in 5 mini loaf pans and bake for approximatley 40 mins. I then glaze it with icing with almond extract and put red and green cherries on top. Makes a great hostess gift and freezes really well.

I love this recipe! it's so easy, literally throw the ingredients together and you get 2 delicious loaves. Tender, moist great to give away & one to keep. Thanks love this so much

WONDERFUL. I made this to go with strawberries and cream. Don't like the commercial little cakes and wanted something with more humf then plain cake. Everyone just loved it. Thanks for sharing

I made this yesterday with excellent results. I did everything exactly as the recipe stated. They did take a longer baking time than stated, but I find that over here things often do. I put one loaf in the freezer for Christmas and we immediately tasted the other one and were very delighted with the flavour and texture. Thanks for a great recipe!

The taste was good and texture is great. But I had to bake it for 25 minutes above the recommended time until the wooden stick came out clean. Be very careful in taking the loaf out of the pan. It's more difficult than any other sweet bread. It's perfect for any occasion for coffee and tea time.
