This loaf is rich, flavorful and moist, perfect for the Christmas Season! Actually, if you omit the red or green cherries, it's perfect for ANY time of year! (Keep one, and give one away as a gift!) I think it tastes even better the next day!

Very moist loaf that freezes well. Added to my Christmas baking list! I freeze the loaves ahead and decorate with glaze after they thaw.

This holiday season I came looking for this recipes. I make it in 5 mini loaf pans and bake for approximatley 40 mins. I then glaze it with icing with almond extract and put red and green cherries on top. Makes a great hostess gift and freezes really well.

I love this recipe! it's so easy, literally throw the ingredients together and you get 2 delicious loaves. Tender, moist great to give away & one to keep. Thanks love this so much
