- 88.74 ml butter, softened to room temperature (don't melt it in the microwave)
- 59.14 ml milk or 59.14 ml cream
- 9.85 ml vanilla
- 0.25 ml salt
- 768.91 ml box confectioners' sugar
- 2 bittersweet chocolate squares (optional)
directions
- Beat the butter, milk, vanilla and salt in a medium bowl.
- Slowly add the confectioners' sugar.
- Mix until thick and creamy.
- Beat on high until fluffy and of good spreading consistency.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle over the iced cake.
