This was so easy and sooooo good. I subbed Lima beans for the fava beans, because I could not find them (and to be honest I am obsessed with lima beans). I love the use of the chicken broth here. It adds a whole different dimension. I subbed Cavender's Greek seasoning for the S&P and we ate the whole entire dish! I will be making these a lot! Thanks for posting! Made for Holiday Tag 2009!
Having pulled these lovely beans from the vines this morning, I found my way to this recipe, and no doubt a real beauty here, in prep, in presentation, and of course, the final taste. What could there be not to love? You got have the bacon, onions, broth, S&P. And the best darn beans on the East, South, North, and the whole West coasts. Delicious! Made for *Everyday is a Holiday* November 2009
So easy and soo..... good. I use horticulture beans (frozen from last summer) delish. Made for holiday tag.
These were so tasty with fresh fava beans from our neighbor's garden! Thanks WC!
I also added one clove of garlic. This was delicious. I had to use a substitute bean because I couldn't find fava beans.
This was a very tasty dish! Perfect timing because the beans are in season. I added one clove of garlic. I will definitely make this again. made for ZWT5.
