Thanks for posting this quick and easy recipe. I like the fact that it can all be made in a double boiler in just a few minutes, and I think the recipe could be used for custard cups as well as a deep dish pie. I think it needs more cornstarch and flavoring.

  1. Cook all ingredients in double boiler until thickened.
  2. Pour into pie shell.
  3. Top with meringue which has been beaten stiff.
  4. Bake 450F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
