Tasty, easy, and low fat. Doesn't get much better than that.
- 1 1⁄4 cups fat-free mayonnaise or 1 1⁄4 cups fat-free Miracle Whip
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 1⁄4 cup prepared yellow mustard
- 1⁄3 cup cider vinegar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Place all ingredients in a bowl.
- whisk or blend together.
This recipe turned out mouth wateringly good! I used low calorie mayonnaise, Turkish honey (basically normal honey, but with thyme) a mild Dijon mustard, my own Garlic & Basil Vinegar, the Cayenne pepper and some Italian herb seasonings along with salt and freshly ground black pepper. I'm going to use this recipe for more then just salads! Last night I used it to dip in chicken fingers and today I am going to use it for my lunch - a French baguette with bacon, brie and honey mustard dressing warmed and toasted in the oven... Mmmmmm!
WONDERFUL! I used light mayo, a little less water and a little extra honey. In the end I added some fancy lemon pepper that has a little extra garlic powder, salt and onion in it and WOW did that perfect the dressing. Thanks for posting this!
This is an amazing recipe. I did not add the water and it was the perfect consistency. I had been looking for something similar to Chick Fil A's fat-free dressing and this was even BETTER! This will be a staple in my house. Thanks!
