I had got Emeril's Essence recipe off here and need a quick tasty grilled chicken recipe. couldnt find one here that didnt need to be maranated for 3+ hours so I kinda came up with this. It's awsome in my opinion try it and let me know.
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon spice essence
- 6 boneless chicken breasts
- mix all ingredients in a bowl.
- pound chicken breast to around a 1/2 inch thick.
- dip in bowl of ingredients.
- sprikle lightly with a little more essence.
- throw them on the grill on medium heat turning only once until done.
Made for March 2008 Freezer Tag Challenge. This is a nice basic marinade recipe. I used Emeril's Essence and Kikkoman teriyaki sauce. The recipe was easy to do and took only a couple of minutes to put together. The only draw back we found is it was extremely salty. I suggest using either a salt free spice blend or a low sodium teriyaki sauce. To freeze: Add chicken and all ingredients to a zip top bag. Label and freeze. To serve: Thaw chicken and grill as desired.
This was delicious and a great way to have high impact flavors in just a few minutes. Used Recipe #11783 as my essence spice blend and store bought teriyaki sauce. The sweetness of the sauce was well balanced and matched by the heat of the spice blend. Served this with grilled zucchini and grilled sweet potatotes. Such a treat to be able prepare dinner on my George Foreman in just 15 minutes. Thanks!
Wow- what great flavor. I followed the recipe exactly other then I cooked them on the stove as the propane bottle on my grill was empty. This was really good, tasty and easy to make. Made for Fall PAC 2007.
