  • Melt butter in a large skillet and whisk in flour over medium heat.
  • Gradually ad milk and chicken broth, whisking well to prevent lumps.
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  • Add the chicken, chiles, garlic powder, salt and pepper and stir well.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes.

I live in the Phoenix area where the sun always shines. I love to cook and garden. I am a "gadget freak" and seem to buy every cooking tool that comes on the market.
