Fast Bake White Bread (Bread Machine)

I make this bread daily. I also alter the flours once in a while. Using 2 cups white with 1 cup wheat. Great for panini sandwiches!

• Total Time: 1 hrs 3 mins
• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 58 mins

Ingredients:

Yield: 1 loaf

• 1 cup lukewarm water
• 2 tablespoons lukewarm water
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 4 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups bread flour
• 1 tablespoon yeast

Directions:

1. Add ingredients in order listed above.
2. Use Fast Bake setting.

Just made my first white bread. It turned out light and fluffy, a big difference from the heavier grain breads I have been making. I will make this again for sure.This made 10 slices that were perfect right out of the maker with butter.

Im not in the habit of rating another chefs favorite recipe, but in this case I had to make an exception. Have made 3 loaves in 3 days, with all white bread flour and also mixture of wheat. All came out better than any other bread machine recipe.

One caution. Your bread machine may take more than 55 minutes. Don't worry it will still be great homemade bread.
