- 1 small ripe avocado, peeled,chopped finely
- 1 medium tomatoes, cored,seeds squeezed out
- 1⁄2 cup chunky salsa (mild, medium or hot for your taste)
- 1 small Spanish onion, coursely chopped into chunks
- 1⁄2 lime, juice of (optional)
directions
- Chop avacado.
- Core tomato, cut in half, squeeze out seeds, discard seeds and chop remaining tomato.
- Chop spanish onion.
- Combine chopped avocado, tomato, onion and add salsa.
- Let sit in fridge for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- If you are going to do salsa ahead more than 30 minutes, squeeze the juice of half a lime to prevent avocado from turning brown.
- Best eaten the same day as avocado darkens, but still tastes great!
- Put on top of grilled burgers.
