This is a way I developed to cook a few shrimp quickly and easily right from the freezer to use in recipes calling for cooked shrimp or even when I need a quick shrimp fix, comfort food that is always perfect with butter and lemon. I have always used raw-frozen-shell on shrimp for this method
My Private Note
- 1Put shrimp in a microwave safe cup and cover with water (I always use my pyrex liquid measuring cup).
- 2Microwave on high for 50 seconds, let sit 50 seconds.
- 3Microwave on high 30 seconds, let sit 30 seconds.
- 4Peel and use as is or add ice to the glass to cool to room temperature for salads or dips.
