this is a easy pie to do and my grandma did it for us

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup Dark Karo syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup pecans (whole)
  • 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust

Directions

  1. preheat oven at 350.
  2. mix eggs,butter,syrup,vanilla,sugar,@¶".
  3. pour in pecans and mix well.
  4. pour in pie shell.
  5. bake in oven for 45 minutes at 350.
  6. put on a wire rack to cool after baking.

This is like the recipe on the karo syrup bottle from many many years ago,it is how I make my pecan pies also,it is truely an excellent recipe.Darlene
