I don't know if I would purposely buy canned potatoes just to make this, but it is a good recipe if you have them in the pantry for some reason. I used the larger amount of paprika and doubled the recipe for 3 people with only a tiny amount left over. Very quick and easy.

For dietary reasons I used Carisma potatoes, a low GI potatoe which I peeled cut into small chunks and steamed for 10 minutes till used tender, and then proceeded with recipe using a smoky paprika and we thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Thank you Nasseh, made for ZAAR Chef Alphabet Soup.

This is a very quick and easy way to dress up that dull can of potatoes. A can of whole potatoes were used after I had diced them. I used the full 1 teaspoon of paprika. Using a non-stick skillet, I think a person can cut the butter back by half if not more. Made for *ZWT 6* I'm on Team *Ya Ya Cookerhood*

Great tasting spuds! I used olive oil, smoked paprika and cumin with some leek added in. After tasting the potato out of the can I didn't think they needed any more salt but I did add a tiny pinch of pink sea salt just before serving. They were great with salmon and a salad.

Made & reviewed for Ramadan tag 2009 in the NA*ME forum. When I boil potatoes for mash etc, I always make extra for salads & frittatas so I some potato in the fridge that I cubed & used instead of canned. I also added a good pinch of Schwartz Season All to the potatoes with the other seasoning / spices - delicious! The whole family enjoyed these especially the kids. Thanks Nasseh for a tasty, different potato side. :)

This recipe did not rock our boat. I could not get rid of that canned potato taste. :-(.I'm not sure why the potato water needed to be added? There was plenty sauce to coat the potatoes. I added just a little. I will try it again and rinse the potatoes and add a little chicken broth instead of the canned potato water. Also some parsley would brighten up the presentation. I will review again.

Quick, easy and delicious. This is a very good side for those days when time is limited. As stated by a previous reviewer, onions and other seasonings would be very good too. Made for 1-2-3 & 4 Hit Wonders.

with a few amount adjustments and the addition of cayenne pepper we enjoyed these potatoes, I used seasoned salt in place of white salt, thanks for sharing!

How much easier can you get than this, & with a nice twist to the taste of potatoes, too! I used a rounded teaspoon of the paprika, & everything else was as indicated! Very, very nice ~ Thanks for sharing! [Tagged, made & reviewed in 1-2-3 Hit Wonders cooking game]

Really tasty quick and easy canned potato recipe. It is so versatile; you can add other seasonings such as onion or seasoned salt, or garlic powder. If time permits I would add some sliced or chopped onions along with the potatoes. Canned potatoes are also good for kebobs such as my Barbecue Potato Kabobs too.

Wow, so very glad you shared this, Nasseh, and my bf is too! He asked for more, but unfortunately I hadn't doubled the recipe. I made as directed, except used Smart Balance with Flaxseed Oil Spread for the butter. I used 1/2 tsp paprika. This was just fantastic and the flavor was wonderful with just the right amount of heat. This went well with Quick Cajun Chops and sweet kernel corn. So well, in fact that bf exclaimed "This is freaking awesome and I want more now!" rofl! Anyway he gives this 5 stars, which is rare for him. Obviously I have to make this again for sure. Made for Please Review My Recipe tag game.
