- Melt the butter in a heavy skillet.
- Add manioc meal and cook over low heat stirring constantly until golden.
- Sprinkle with salt, to taste.
- Serve in a small ceramic bowl.
I use regular Cream of Wheat (farina) when I can't find manioc flour. I use 1 cup of butter or margarine, saute bits of sausage, onions, green olives and hard boiled eggs before adding the flour. Terrific! Patricia Hinn
