I use regular Cream of Wheat (farina) when I can't find manioc flour. I use 1 cup of butter or margarine, saute bits of sausage, onions, green olives and hard boiled eggs before adding the flour. Terrific! Patricia Hinn

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy skillet.
  2. Add manioc meal and cook over low heat stirring constantly until golden.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, to taste.
  4. Serve in a small ceramic bowl.
